Hsun K. Chou, CEO and founder of EICO INC.
Founder & CEO of EICO, Inc., a back-end service company for semiconductor industry. Formerly served as Director of Operations of Toshiba Semiconductor USA, in charge of two wafer fabrication facilities. He is also a seasoned angel investor who supported a broad range of high-tech companies from the early stages including NetScreen Technologies Inc.(IPO and then acquired by Juniper Networks) and Protego Networks, Inc. (acquired by Cisco Systems).
Dr. Chou received both a B.S. and M.S. from The Tokyo Institute of Technology and a Ph.D from The University of Tokyo.
Heiner Sussner, Managing Director at Miramar Venture Partners
Heiner joined Miramar in 2001 after 25 years working with world-class engineers and scientists at IBM Research and in venture-backed technology companies. In addition to deal sourcing, he provides a broad network of technical resources to Miramar's portfolio companies. He serves on the boards of the following Miramar portfolio companies: Azuro, Matrix Sensors, AccelOps, FastSoft, and previously served on the board of Protego Networks, which was acquired by Cisco Systems.
From 1998 until he joined Miramar, Heiner was a Senior Managing Director of H&Q Asia Pacific, a private equity firm with $1.8 billion under management focusing on technology and other investing in Asia and the United States. At H&Q Asia Pacific, Heiner was responsible for providing advice and guidance on all investments in the technology sector and served on the Board of Directors of several technology companies in Silicon Valley incl. Headway Technology (acquired by TDK).
Heiner started his professional career at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Physics in Stuttgart and joined IBM Research in San Jose, California in 1980 working on advanced recording technology. In 1986, Heiner became director of Storage Systems and Technology for IBM Research, where he was responsible for research programs in storage technology, including magnetic, optical and manufacturing research. Under his leadership, the department grew to over 200 scientists and engineers, and IBM became the first to demonstrate Gigabit recording densities for disk drives. In 1992, he joined IBM Europe in Paris as Executive Consultant to the head of marketing for IBM Europe, and was co-founder and Director of IBM Europe's corporate venture group. In 1996, Heiner joined Phase Metrics Corporation, a venture-backed data storage company based in San Diego, California, as Chief Technical Officer responsible for R&D and product development.
Heiner is a graduate of the Technical University of Munich and received his Ph.D. in Physics in 1976 for his work at the Centre Nationale de Recherche Scientifique in Grenoble, France and the University of Konstanz, Germany. He is author of numerous scientific publications, holds several patents and was awarded the 1994 IEEE Medal for Engineering Excellence.
Robert Thomas, President and Chief Executive Officer of Infoblox
Robert Thomas brings more than 25 years of technical, sales, marketing, and management experience in the technology sector to his role as president and chief executive officer of Infoblox.
Most recently, he was president and CEO of NetScreen Technologies, where he grew the company from 31 employees to 950 employees and led its successful public offering and eventual acquisition by Juniper Networks.
Before NetScreen, Thomas held positions at Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, and ICL. During his nine years at Sun Microsystems, he was general manager of intercontinental operations and director of international marketing development, overseeing Sun's international business opportunities and policies.
Robert holds a B.Sc. in mathematics from Adelaide University in Australia.

Ms. Gambale has served on over 20 Public and Private boards including Motive (NASDAQ-MOTV), Workbrain (TSE-WB), Synchronoss Technologies (NASDAQ-SNCR), and IQ Financial (Chairman). She currently serves as a Director for JetBlue (NASDAQ-JBLU), Piper Jaffray (NYSE-PJC) and three private companies: Knoa, Kurtosys Ltd.(Chairman) and 29West. She has also served as a board advisor to DB Capital Partners, FT Ventures, Apax Technology Ventures, New York City Investment Fund, Mobius Ventures, CPM Brazil, and Gartner Group’s CIO Advisory Roundtable.
Prior to 2003, Ms. Gambale held senior management positions (including CIO) at global corporations including: Merrill Lynch, Marsh & McLennan, Bankers Trust Alex Brown, Deutsche Bank, DB Strategic Ventures and ABS Ventures.
Ms. Gambale was named by Directors and Boards Magazine as one of 12 “Directors To Watch” (2006) and has garnered such prestigious awards as the Forbes Great Communicators (1999) and was named one of the top three CIO’s on Wall Street (1997). She is a member of the Mentor Faculty and Thesis Evaluation board for Columbia University’s Graduate Masters in Technology Leadership. She is a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia University and the CIO Institute.
Ms. Gambale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science with a minor in Business from the New York Institute of Technology. She also studied piano performance at the Julliard School and Hartt Conservatories, and is a Board Director of the Newport Music Festival.
